Happy Insta Girls Halloween Blog Hop

Boo to you and welcome to the "Happy Insta Girls Halloween Blog Hop"
As you may know the "Happy Insta Girls" are a bunch of crafty girls met over on Instagram where we share our beloved hobby with so many other talented folk. Every now and then we put together a blog hop. We each got drawn another Insta Girl in secret and make a card and sent it to her. It's a little bit like christmas everytime because you don't know who your secret cardmaker is until you found the happy mail in your mailbox.

This time my secret and very talented cardmaker is the oh so lovely Nina known as @engelchensbastelstube on IG and I got this awesome shadow box card from her *gasp 

Isn't it fantastic??? All those cute ghosts and the awesome details. And she made it in my favorite color: turquoise. It makes the scenery look like three o'clock in the morning, when the fog is floating through the clearing. It's mysterious and spooky and I love it so much.

She sent a whole bunch of turquoise colored crafty treats too - I'm overwhelmed - and to top it all a colorchanging electric tealight. Take a look how fab-boo-lously the moon and the stars glow

From the bottom of my heart thank you sooooo much Nina, for all the sonderful supplies and this beautiful card - actually it's a tiny world, a little diorama and it's sitting on my desk brightening every single of my days. *bighugs

I made a card for Birka - you may remember that her favorite color is pink. So I chose the halloween color that is the clostest to pink: purple - I hope that's ok
I wanted to keep the front of the card really simple, because the big thing is happening on the inside.

The ghosties are slightly colored with purple or green, as if the "happy" is glowing and reflecting on them. I spritzed some perfect pearls shimmer water on the background and added some nuvo crystal drops in matching colors.

You can put a electric tea light inside and it will make a spooky halloween decoration - especially if you're using a color changing one. It was very difficult to take good pictures but I've made a little video of the light up card which I'll be showing on my Instagram
